Stonington — The town has filed court documents seeking to foreclose on the building at 215 Liberty St. that houses the Fuji Gardens restaurant.

Longtime residents better know the 10,000-square-foot building as the site of the once popular Rosalini’s nightclub.

Owner Jacques A.P. Faulise of North Kingstown, R.I.,  owes two years of back taxes to the town, totaling $34,000.

The town is seeking foreclosure of its liens and possession of the property so it can be auctioned and the town can be reimbursed for its attorney’s fees and other costs.
