H.S. track: Stonington boys still spotless in ECC Small

Stonington - Arrow Johnson won the 100 meters (11.6 seconds), 200 (23.4) and 400 (56.3) to highlight Stonington High School's 81-36 win Tuesday over Tourtellotte in an Eastern Connecticut Conference Small Division track meet.

Stonington (2-2, 2-0) also picked up individual wins from Christian Rogerson (110 hurdles), Dom Blanchette (300 hurdles), Tom Matthews (shot put), Eddie Rathbun (discus) and Kyle Woodworth (javelin).

In other meets:

• Chase Guillemette won both hurdles events in Norwich Free Academy's 109-41 victory over Woodstock Academy in the ECC Large Division. Martin Lewerk (long jump, 4x100) and Dan Cardin (800, 4x800) each added an individual win and contributed to a relay victory. NFA is 5-0, 3-0.

• John Coleman won the 110 hurdles (16.4) and 300 hurdles (42.3), pacing Fitch past Bacon Academy 99-51 in the ECC Large. Tyler Latham took first in the 400 (53.8) and javelin (156-9.5) and Lexus Gordon won the 100 (11.5) for the Falcons (5-0, 3-0). Spencer Dimock was a double-winner for Bacon (2-2, 1-2), taking first in the shot put (42-3) and discus (118-0).

• Scott Butler finished first in the 1,600 (4:57) and 3,200 (11:33), leading East Lyme past New London 102-47 in the ECC Large. Tim Farina won the shot put (34-10) and discus (97-3) while John Ricci won the 110 hurdles (19.2) and Bob Dees won the 800 (2:13.8) for the Vikings (4-1, 2-1). The New London quartet of Orrin Parke, Nico Ramos, Caleb Camacho and Jelani Lucas won the 4x100 relay in 45.8. Parke also took first in the 100 (11.4), 200 (22.9) and 400 (53.0) for the Whalers (2-3, 0-3).

Girls

• Christina Connor won the discus (88 feet), shot put (28-7) and javelin (75-10) as Stonington beat Tourtellotte 82-57 in the ECC Small Division. Sophie Moore added wins in the 100 hurdles (17.8) and 300 hurdles (50.8) for the Bears (1-3, 1-1).

• Allison Londregan finished first in the 100 hurdles (13.7), 300 hurdles (54.6) and pole vault (8-6), pacing St. Bernard past Lyman Memorial 85-61 in the ECC Small Division. Allison Regan took first in the 100 (13.7), long jump (16-0.5) and triple jump (32-6) while Mackenzie Nagy was a double-winner, taking the 1,600 and 400, for the Saints (3-1, 2-0). For Lyman (2-4, 1-2), Lindsey Moon won the 800 while Alyson Tacchi took first in the shot put (23-9) and high jump (4-8).

• Yana Babbitt won the discus (102-8) and javelin (114-5) as NFA topped Woodstock Academy 103-47 in the ECC Large Division. Dyshelle Pemberton and Mia Park each contributed to wins in the 4x100 relay and the 4x400 relay, while Pemberton won the 400 (58.2) and Park the 200 (26.4). NFA is 5-0, 3-0.

• East Lyme's Eva Christensen won the 800 (2:42), 1,600 (5:47) and joined Becca Alaimo, Jillian Cirillo and Emily Leen on the winning 4x800 relay team (11:45) in a 116-34 win over New London in the ECC Large. Jessie Kenny won the 300 hurdles (51.9) and Christina Watts won the shot put (30-6) for the Vikings (5-0, 3-0).

Francine Jacque won the 100 (12.9) and 400 (64.4) while Mercedes Santos took first in the 200 (27.3), long jump (14-6) and high jump (4-10) for New London (2-3, 0-3).
