Mohegan Sun officials will meet Thursday, May 10 with the Town Council in Palmer, the western Massachusetts town where the Mohegans hope to develop a commercial casino.
The council had asked to meet with Mohegan representatives after casino supporters filed a petition seeking an update on the status of the Mohegans' project.
Bruce "Two Dogs" Bozsum, chairman of the Mohegan Tribal Council, and Mitchell Etess, chief executive officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, signed an April 17 letter in which they agreed to meet with the Town Council.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Palmer High School.
