Turning 30: The LUNCH Ensemble's Harry Chapin Tribute Concert is happening on Saturday in Mystic - and this is the 30th anniversary concert.

Call him Grammy winner: Mystic's Bill Pere - who won a Grammy this year for being part of the multi-artist, anti-bullying CD "All About Bullies Big and Small" - is president and founder of The LUNCH Ensemble. He'll be featured Saturday, along with Kay Pere, Larry Batter, and students from Connecticut and Rhode Island.

LUNCH time: The LUNCH (Local United Network to Combat Hunger) Ensemble aims to carry on in the spirit of Harry Chapin - in terms of music and humanitarian efforts. Money raised through Saturday's concert will go to local social service agencies. Over the years, LUNCH has raised more than $1 million for soup kitchens and homeless shelters.
