On Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme opens free to all visitors for its ninth annual Community Day.
Currently on view at the museum is "-Isms: Unlocking Art's Mysteries."
This year's event will feature concerts by musician Dave Fry at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Also at 2 p.m. Patricia O'Brien, award-winning poet and breast cancer survivor, and Judy Perry, award-winning visual artist and automobile crash survivor, will discuss the role art played in their recovery.
