Pink flamingos coming to a yard near you

Norwich – The flamingos are returning to Norwich.

Rather than a rare bird sighting, these flamingos signal the second annual fundraiser for the Norwich Youth Action Council to raise money for summer programs.

“Flocking Flamingos for Summer Fun” will start May 14. Participants can order a flock of pink flamingos for $35 to arrive on the lawns of their homes or businesses or those of willing friends and family. The birds will be collected the next day to be relocated to another lawn.
