Man arrested after allegedly stealing limo

Mashantucket — A Waltham, Mass. man was arrested early this morning after state police said he stole a limousine from the MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

Adam Caramanica, 30, was charged with first-degree larceny, possession of a controlled substance, altering of a controlled substance, interfering with police, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and evading.

The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Police stopped him at 4:06 a.m. in the area of Routes 2 and 184.

Caramanica is being held on bond, pending his arraignment today in New London Superior Court.
