Celebrate Lyme’s beauty and join the Paint Out

The second annual "Celebrating Lyme's Beauty" event will showcase paintings of Clucas Field on Brush Hill Road in Lyme.

This exhibition will be displayed in the Lyman Allyn Art Museum's Glassenberg Gallery from June 1 through June 30, and then travel to the Lyme Art Association for a second display from July 7 through Sept. 3.

A Paint Out will be held Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Clucas Field. The Paint Out is free and open to anyone, but registration is required by Wednesday, May 2. Call (860) 434-7802 to register and for directions. Artists unable to attend the Paint Out may visit Clucas Field after the Paint Out on May 5 to create work.
