In Loving Memory of My Father - George E. Perkins, Jr.
May 18, 1937-May 2,2012
It is ten years ago that you were suddently and tragically taken from me.
I think about you often and how through your example I learned the importance of taking care of my responsibilities - plus some unexpected ones on occasion.
I am so thankful that even though I wasn't your biological child, you still raised me - as your own.
I am able to realize a good and healthy life - without the need for material possessions.
You gave of yourself through hardwork and decation to your family.
I know you loved your animals too.
I welcomed you when I meant Mario Andretti recently. I told him you were his fan. He appreciated your loyalty - and so do I.
Your love of autoracing, I keep alive.
I miss you and love you.
I keep your memory alive - always.
Lots of love and a big hug
Your daughter,
Roberta M. Helming of Ledyard
