I'm not the only person who has noticed the striking resemblance between country music star Dierks Bentley and Texas Rangers centerfielder Josh Hamilton.
But has anyone mentioned how little Bentley looks like Håvard Ellefsen, leader of the Norwegian troll-metal band Mortiis? I thought not.
It'll be Bentley performing at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Friday. Touring behind his sixth album, "Home," which features his seventh number one song "Am I The Only One," Bentley is a neo-traditionalist in that he writes a lot of very good drinking songs. He also features his dog, Jake, in some of his videos, which is always cool.
These qualities are indeed emblematic of his likable and accessible musical style - plus, he's probably the only Nashville star to have attended the University of Vermont.
