Norwich – World Youth Day activities planned for Friday afternoon in Norwich will be held rain or shine, but some activities will be moved indoors or under cover, organizers said.

If it rains, the March of the Upstanders – people who pledge not to be bystanders to acts of bullying – will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the parking deck at 87 Broadway, rather than at the City Hall Plaza. The World Youth Day festival would move from the parking deck upper level indoors to the lower level of the United Congregational Church at 87 Broadway.

The 4 p.m. youth awards ceremony will take place in room 335 at City Hall.
