East Lyme and Fitch would like to welcome any military personal to attend the girls' lacrosse game today at East Lyme at 7 p.m.

The impact and importance of the military is extremely strong in both communities and the southeastern Connecticut area in general and the two teams would like to recognize their efforts by treating them as their guest during the game.

Members of the high school group, Sweet Harmony, will be performing the National Anthem along with a color guard from the Connecticut National Guard. The players from both teams will be wearing specially designed uniform jerseys provided by the Connecticut National Guard. The East Lyme Youth Lacrosse Bantam team (3rd and 4th graders) will also be playing at halftime and other activities are planned for this event.
