OpSail announces more sponsors

New London — Organizers of OpSail 2012 Connecticut, the tall ships event scheduled July 6-9, identified more corporate sponsors this morning.

Electric Boat; WTNH-TV, Channel 8 of New Haven; and Milone & MacBroom, Cheshire-based engineering consultants have joined the list of event sponsors.

“I’m happy to see the level of support and commitment from businesses throughout Connecticut,” John Johnson, chairman of OpSail2012, said in a statement. “We’re moving forward with a phenomenal celebration this summer thanks to the support of our business community and local neighbors.”

Other sponsors include Mohegan Sun; Lawrence & Memorial Hospital; Hall Communications of Norwich; The Day Publishing Co.; Levine Distributing Company of Norwich; Ocean Marketing of Guilford; The Coca Cola Co. of Waterford; and Dominion Energy of Waterford.
