This "Friend of a Fellow" series might have legs. Serious legs. The literary equivalent of Betty Grable, so to speak.

Rosanna Warren is the latest in this poetry program sponsored by the James Merrill House. She reads tonight at the LaGrua Center in Stonington at the invitation of the current Merrill House Writer-in-Residence, Peter Filkins.

Warren is a renowned poet, translator, and literary critic. Over the course of five collections of poetry, she's won a Pushcart Prize, the Lavan Younger Poets' Prize from the Academy of American Poets, and the Award of Merit in Poetry from The American Academy of Arts and Letters.
