Miguel A. Ortiz, 25, of 95 Hawthorne Drive, Apt. 1H, New London, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license and failure to obey a control signal.

East Lyme

Collier Atchinson, 43, of Rensselaer, N.Y., was charged Sunday with third-degree assault, breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief and interfering with a police officer.

Norwich

A youthful offender was charged Saturday with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana.

Christian McDonough, 18, of 99 W. Thames St., Apt. 2, was charged Saturday with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monroe Demond, 33, of 17 Russell Road was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license.

State Police - Montville

Raymond R. Hamelin, 62, of 49 Mattern Road, Preston, was charged Sunday in Preston with violation of probation.

New London

Mason B. Peabody, 22, of 76 Niantic River Road, Waterford, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license, failure to obey a traffic control signal and failure to carry insurance.

Ernest Brown, 52, of Hamden, was charged Sunday with two counts of violation of probation.

Stonington

Thomas E. Lamy, 51, of no known address, was charged Friday with breach of peace.

Waterford

Christine Ruberto, 52, of 17 Woodland Drive, was charged Friday with first-degree failure to appear in court.

Leslie Suarez, 57, of 11 Edgewood Ave., was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to obey a traffic control signal.

Timothy Kruszewski, 28, of 15 Daisy Hill Road, Oakdale, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and first-degree reckless endangerment.
