Citizens Bank said Monday it was enhancing its online and mobile banking services. The updates include person-to-person payments on the web and expanded mobile capacity that includes Android as well as iPhone users.

"We are committed to putting our customers in control and showing them how to take care of their banking needs anytime and anywhere," said Brad Conner, vice chairman of consumer banking for RBS Citizens Financial Group.

New apps for Android users let customers make payments, check balances, view account histories and find a branch or ATM. Another app allows quicker transfers, viewing of check images and making account-to-account transfers.
