Big Y to offer free WiFi in all stores

Big Y is planning to install free WiFi service in all its supermarkets by the end of the year.

Fifty-one stores have been offering free WiFi since February. A WiFi-enabled device can connect to the Internet when within range of a wireless network.

Customers with WiFi enabled devices are able to pick up the WiFi signal throughout the stores and in its Big Y cafés. Shoppers are encouraged to access the newly re-designed Bigy.com to manage their profiles, view store flyers, enter contests and explore special savings.
