Waterford — Waterford High School will hold a special ceremony Friday morning to honor the memory of all veterans and those from town who were killed in action.

The ceremony is open to everyone and will be held at the flag pole outside of the high school. It will include a patriotic performance by Waterford students. Those attending are asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m.

All veterans will be honored, but the ceremony also will highlight the sacrifices of Army Capt. Arnold E. Holm Jr., Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Edwin Rivera, Army Staff Sgt. Ari Cullers and Marine Cpl. Kemaphoom "Ahn" Chanawongse. All were from the town and were killed in action.

The ceremony may be moved to the field house in the event of rain.
