Old Lyme presidential primary results to be audited

Old Lyme — The town has been randomly selected for an audit of the April 24 presidential primary.

The audit will be conducted at 10 a.m. on May 30 in the meeting hall at Town Hall.

The registrars of voters will hand count the ballots, which were scanned in by voting machines on primary day.

Ten percent of polling precints that used optical-scan voting machines were subject to an audit.
