Since my last blog installment, I have been elevated to the status of restaurant reviewer at The Day. Along with a rotating list of restaurant critics here, I will be going out every now and again to assess the merits of a local restaurant for coverage in the paper.

I broke down crying when I heard the news, thinking back to my humble beginnings here on the Dinning Blog.

How far we’ve come? Am I right?

Anyways, I’d like to incorporate the readers of the Dinning Blog into my new role by asking you for recommendations on restaurants that deserve to be reviewed. I’ll be taking my wife (a vegetarian) and my one-year-old son along on the reviews. So some place vegetarian friendly and kid friendly would be good.
