The Connecticut Office of Tourism will sponsor its 8th annual Connecticut Open House Day on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open House Day is designed to pay tribute to Connecticut' s history, art and tourist destinations.

Participating venues in the region include Fort Trumbull State Park in New London, Gillette Castle State Park in East Haddam, and Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford. Admission to all destintations is free. For details, contact each participating park.
