Among the many glowing things one can say about the acts in our local music scene is that these folks aren't afraid to show up and pitch in for a good cause. And so it rolls at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Hygienic Art Park with MagnetPalooza II, an event that benefits the arts programs at New London's Regional Multicultural Magnet School.
The event features an impressive stylistic array of live entertainment - Dogbite, Steve Elci & Friends, WTO, the RMMS Chorus, Mr. C & Friends and Dancing with Mr. Leo - and food will be available for purchase from Illiano's. The Hygienic Art Park is at 79-83 Bank St., New London (rain location is the RMMS gymnasium, 1 Bulkeley Place, New London, same day, same time); $5 individual, $10 family; (860) 437-7775.
