Hartford — A Bloomfield man is dead and six others were hospitalized after four separate shootings overnight in Hartford.

Police say 24-year-old Michael Bailey Jr. was found face down in a parking lot at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Police say they are investigating the case as a homicide.

Earlier Saturday, two victims who drove themselves to Hartford Hospital told police they were shot by two men who demanded "stuff" from them. Police say a third man shot during the incident arrived later.

Also, police said two men were shot in the leg while in line for a food truck just before 1 a.m.

In the fourth incident, a man said he was shot in the lower back by an unknown suspect at an athletic club. His injuries weren't life threatening.
