David and Mary (Holdridge) Foltz recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 9, 1962, in Ledyard.

After having three children of their own, Sandy, Steve, and Lisa, they have additionally welcomed into their family two sons-in-law, Terence Fedors and Kevin Curtis (deceased in 2010), and a daughter-in-law, Brenda. They cherish their grandchildren, Jake, Erin, Allison, Ethan, Garrett, Jenna, Carly, and Ty.

David is a retired engineer who worked at General Dynamics Electric Boat for 33 years. Mary is retired after 29 years as a nursery school teacher and director of Ledyard Center Nursery School.

David and Mary now enjoy the life of travel, adventures, and spending time with family and friends.
