Plainfield Backus Emergency Care Center to celebrate its opening on June 26

Plainfield -- The William W. Backus Hospital will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and barbecue celebrating the new Plainfield Backus Emergency Care Center from 4 to 6 p.m. June 26 at 582 Norwich Road.

The free-standing 13,000 square foot facility, which is scheduled to open July 9, will offer around-the-clock round the clock emergency care, 12 treatment rooms, board-certified physicians, convenient care, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services.

The public is invited to attend this free event to learn more about the facility and see it firsthand.  No registration is required.  For information, visit: www.backushospital.org/plainfield-emergency.
