Friendship School dispute started over kindergarten diploma

Waterford — Police today named the three people who were arrested Monday morning after a domestic dispute following a kindergarten graduation at the Friendship School.

Diana Quinones, 31, and Ernesto Quinones, 24, both of 40 Crystal Ave., New London, and Felicia Strong, 20, of 93 State Pier Road, New London, were all charged with breach of peace.

Police said the incident took place in the front lobby of the school and started after an argument over a kindergarten diploma. The school provides preschool and kindergarten to children from Waterford and New London.

Police were called to the school Monday at 11:24 a.m. No injuries were reported.
