It's always good when a precocious wunderkind makes his or her presence known on a local music scene. It worked wonders for Connor "Bright Eyes" Oberst in Omaha and, more recently, Adam "Owl City" Young in, ah, some town in Minnesota.
Of late, in our neck of the sonic woods, East Lyme's Noah Feldman is gaining a reputation for a deep and intriguing catalog of covers as well as a growing set of melodic originals - and will thusly demonstrate said skills on Friday with a show at the Bank Street Cafe in New London.
