Gasoline prices have come down dramatically in Connecticut.
The latest AAA Fuel Gauge Report showed average statewide prices for regular gas at $3.78 a gallon. That's a 5.7 reduction from last month's $4.01 a gallon.
Other prices also have fallen. Mid-grade gas is at $3.94, and premium stands at $4.07 a gallon. Those prices are also about a quarter less than in May.
Connecticut still has the highest gas prices in the Northeast. New York, second highest in the region, has prices 2 cents less than Connecticut's. New Jersey's prices are lowest in the region, at $3.42 a gallon.
