Barbara and James O'Brien of North Stonington and Russell Hodgson of Griswold are pleased to announce the March engagement of their daughter, Nicole Lynn Hodgson to Robert Francis Winters II, son of Judith Van Gonsic of Olivebridge, N.Y. and the late Robert Winters.

Nicole is a graduate of Robert E. Fitch Senior High School and graduated summa cum laude from Three Rivers College. She is employed as an armed security guard at Millstone Nuclear Power Station.

Robert is a graduate of New Paltz High School and graduated from Marist College. He is a Waterford police officer.

A July 2012 wedding is planned.
