For a guy whose carefree image rests on happily relaxing in a tropical locale, Jimmy Buffett sure does work a lot.
His Margaritaville Casino and Resort just opened in Biloxi, Missisippi.
He's gearing up to record a new album. He told billboard.com that songs on the docket include the whimsically titled "Einstein Was a Surfer" and "Clueless People in a 'Fraidy Cat World."
Buffett is releasing a live CD/DVD, too, of a show recorded in Las Vegas last year.
Of course, because he's nothing if not a leave-no-opportunity-unturned entrepreneur, he's made the game Margaritaville available online.
He's fitting in some live face-time with his Parrot Heads, too. Buffett's bringing all that Margaritaville attitude out for a run on his "Lounging at the Lagoon" tour, which comes Tuesday to Mohegan Sun Arena - which, of course, is home to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant. I think business types call that synergy.
