Don't want to pay to transport your kid

I am disgusted with reading letters from folks who feel that Stonington schools should pay for transportation to magnet schools.

If you want your kids to go to another school, be prepared to pay their way there. One commenter states that there is no cost to Stonington for this service - bull! Whether it comes directly out of the Stonington budget, or not, and whether it is reimbursed by the state, we all pay for it out of our taxes.

Where does he think the state gets the money from? Does it just magically appear? In the end everyone is paying for this, and I for one am tired of the tax burden. Take your kids to the school of your choice, and pay for it yourself, and pay for the transport too.
