NRC appoints Millstone inspector

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission announced Tuesday that Josephine Ambrosini is the new senior resident inspector at the Millstone Power Station in Waterford.

She joins resident inspectors Jim Krafty and Brian Haagensen at Millstone, which is operated by Dominion.

Ambrosini's last position was as resident inspector at the Oyster Creek nuclear plant in Lacey Township, N.J. She has been with the NRC since 2000.

Each U.S. commercial nuclear power plant site has at least two NRC resident inspectors who conduct regular inspections, monitor significant projects and interact with employees and the public.
