Annoyed by position of the ads, really?

Sometimes I read the letters to the editor with absolute amazement. And so I did on July 4 when I read "Newspaper ad wrap annoys this reader."
First of all, print media is suffering all over the country. I'm guessing The Day gets premium advertising dollars for this space. The ads (though you are annoyed) are probably helpful to the local businesses that advertise and are also helping keep The Day in print, and probably saving someone's job.
Second of all, this is what the writer considers a big annoyance? Count yourself extremely fortunate sir.
As I watched the broadcast of "Heroes at Home" with the story of a local veteran in his early twenties who lost a hand, I guessed he's a bit annoyed.
I attended the ribbon cutting for the opening of the 18 unit Homeless Veterans Apartments in Jewett City, bet they've been a little annoyed since returning from war.
A dear friend lies in her hospital bed, the recipient of a lung transplant on July 3. I'm sure she has found being hooked up to oxygen 24/7 for the past seven years a little obnoxious.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
