Rehberg - Mansfield

Roxanne Dale Mansfield and Lt. Matthew Michael Rehberg exchanged wedding vows on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Gales Ferry. The Reverend Brian J. Converse CT (MAJ) CTARNG, performed the evening ceremony.

Roxanne is the daughter of Jo-Anne D. and Arthur F. Mansfield III, granddaughter of Joan M. and Harold E. Hill and Jean J. and Arthur F. Mansfield II. Rebecca L. Mansfield was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Andrea L. Dellarco, Jessica R. Hewett, Sarah Ingves, and bridesman, Matthew D. Hamilton. Arianna N. Ingves, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

Matthew is the son of Teresa B. and Michael R. Rehberg, grandson of Victoria B. and Stanley J. Gawlinski and Agnes M. and Charles Rehberg. Daniel J. Reiss was the best man. Ushers were Caleb J. Cramer, John J. Gawlinski, Adam J. Mansfield, and Thomas A. Rehberg. John J. Gawlinski Jr., godson and cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at Groton Inn & Suites.

The bride wore a white satin off-the-shoulder ball gown accented with pick-ups and pleating details on the bodice. The maid of honor wore a strapless navy blue satin ball gown with a side-draped skirt with brooch. The bridesmaids wore the same dress in turquoise. The flower girl wore a pink taffeta gown with navy blue sash and flower.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of the University of Connecticut. She currently teaches English and coaches at the Academy of the Holy Family. The groom is a 2002 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves as navigator aboard the USS Hartford stationed in Groton.

The couple honeymooned in Rome, Italy. They currently reside in Groton.
