When George W. Bush was president and the death toll in the Iraq war hit 2,000, the news media was like flies on dung, with all the major networks airing numerous reports.

The news media also had the nightly dead count during prime time news. We had nightly reminders of the war dead by being shown coffins being taken off airplanes and coffins shown in hangars.

On June 13, 2012 the death toll in Afghanistan hit the 2,000 mark and no mention was made from the media. Of these 2,000 dead, 575 came under the Bush presidency and the other 1,425 during the Obama presidency. The news media also ridiculed George Bush for having played golf during the Iraq war, yet said nothing about Obama having played many more rounds during the Afghanistan war.

Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in anticipation of something he might do in the future, yet no one calls him a warmonger as Bush was called. Please think about what else the news media is not telling you because the media is being tightly controlled.
