The New London waterfront continues to be buzzing with activity this weekend, thanks to Don't Miss the Boats and Sentinels on the Sound Lighthouse Weekend. It's all presented by the City of New London, Veolia Water/New London Water Authority, and Custom House Maritime Museum.

Let's break it down:

• Boat trips to New London Harbor Light and lighthouses in the harbor happen this weeknd, leaving from the Custom House Pier. Different tours are available. On one, you go to New London Harbor Light; on another, the boat tours go around the harbor; and on the third, boats tours with Project O visit the new Ledge Light Visitors Center.

• The Nimble Arts Summer Circus does the whole circus thing - trapeze work, juggling, acrobatics - during performances at 4 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Parade Plaza.

And beforehand, from 2 to 3 p.m., you can learn how to juggle from circus artists, for $15; call (860) 447-2501 to register.

• Author - and New London native - Mark Shasha presents "Moonjellies and Daydreams: The Art of Mark Shasha," an exhibition that opens with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Custom House Maritime Museum. Shasha will also be at the museum from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The exhibition will remain on view at the Custom House through mid-September.
