For the past year, Face First guitarist Mike Daigle has been fighting esophageal cancer, a particularly vicious disease. Reports are positive at this point, which is wonderful, but Daigle and his family face some significant medical bills and ongoing expenses.
Make some time, then, Sunday afternoon at the Bank Street Café, which is hosting "Fight Cancer Face First." Indeed, the band Face First headlines along with, yes, Brewzer and also Mad Hatter. There will be food, raffles and all sorts of fun, rock, and good will - all for a very reasonable $10 donation.
