Thunderstorm watch in effect; some events canceled

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for New London County until 9 tonight.

Tonight's Rock the Docks concert at Howard T. Brown Memorial Park in Norwich has been canceled due to the forecast. The concert has been tentatively rescheduled for Aug. 22 at 6 p.m.

Mohegan Sun has canceled tonight's Wild Wednesday festivities on the rooftop of the Riverview Garage due to the weather. The event has been rescheduled to Thursday, July 19, at 5 p.m.

Hygienic Art has canceled tonight's Summer Flickers movie screening.

Ocean Beach Park has canceled tonight's magic show.
