Summer Wine Festival is this weekend

Stonington Vineyards presents its 16th annual Summer Wine Festival, Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22.

Festivities start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21. Musical guests Johnny & The East Coast Rockers kick things off, and food vendors from local restaurants and others with local goods and products continue the celebration.

Admission is $14 in advance and $16 at the door. This year, The Garde Arts Center of New London will receive $1 from every admission to the event.

Those age 17 and younger get in free with an adult. For the over-21 crowd, admission includes a tasting of all Stonington Vineyards' wines and a souvenir logo glass. The event is held rain or shine and ends at 5 p.m. both days.
