There are only 14 punk/hardcore bands in America that are NOT appearing Friday at the El 'n' Gee Club in New London.

Or so it seems.

Yes, there's a mighty line-up of acts from across the country. Rats in the Wall from Costa Mesa, Calif., will be on hand, along with Boston ska-core outfit Brunt of It - and New York's Morning Glory, who are out on the road in anticipation of a new album coming in late summer.

Also on the bill: The Money$ from western Mass. and New Britain's Cry Havoc, along with New London bands American't and Dead City Riot. Forget turning your Marshall up to 11. Turn it up to 13!

- RICK KOSTER

Morning Glory, Dead City Riot, Rats in the Wall and more, 5 p.m. Friday, El 'n' Gee Club, 86 Golden, New London; $10 advance, $12 day of show; (860) 437-3800.
