Between the Easter Hare, Fabergé and chefs who combine three scrambled with lobster, you'd figure eggs were pretty much covered in the "creative" capacity. Don't short sell Mystic/Stonington glassblower Jeffrey P'an, though. He's created a series of egg-inspired vessels (above) that bring some shimmering new concepts on Egg-ness.
On Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m., P'an will host an opening reception for his "EGG" exhibition at his Studio Jeffrey P'an, 44 W. Main Street, Mystic. Hours 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. daily; (860) 536-9274, studiojeffreypan.com.
