Chris Shays' record is certainly no asset

Chris Shays, who is seeking the Republican nomination to run for Senate, keeps telling us he's been in Congress. Yes he has, and that's the problem. When Chris was in Congress, the National Taxpayers Union gave him the grade of "D" on controlling spending and taxes. While Chris was in Washington voting for bills that killed jobs, Linda McMahon was in Connecticut creating jobs, building a business and bringing opportunity to our state. Linda is a true jobs creator, and she'll have my vote in the Aug. 14 primary. I've seen what Chris did in Congress and I don't want him to do it again.
