I am a senior citizen and veteran who has little time left to be personally affected by the sad (oh so sad!) state of our American affairs but has plenty of time (too much time) to be concerned about our legacy of debt and depression to the following generations.

Our Congress is at an impasse on how to fix our economy.

Everyone of Connecticut's members of Congress represent one political party (and have for the last three years). How can we expect compromise on national issues when all of our representatives are of one mind? Congressman Joe Courtney's record in Congress is a classic example of straight party line voting.

We, Connecticut voters, need to bring some equity into our congressional representation.

I intend to vote for Paul Formica, a successful business man, an elected official who knows what must be done to lessen the discord in Washington and to improve our children's chances for the future.
