Ice cream on the lawn anyone?

The Mark Twain House & Museum will host its annual ice cream social on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. The evening will offer music by the Phil Rosenthal Duo, lawn games, hot dogs, house tours for $5, and ice cream donated by the UConn Dairy Bar, Shady Glen and Royal Ice Cream.

Following the social will be a preview screening of the documentary "Linotype: The Film."

All the exhibits in the Museum Center also will be free.
