On the comic cover of his recent EP, "Can't Be Your Friend," Sidewalk Dave sits on the bedroom floor, holding a gun to his head in one hand and a bottle in his other.

He seems definitely perplexed by his implied lack of success with the three oblivious hotties seated on the bed behind him.

Such are life's romantic and whimsical mysteries, the image seems to suggest, and Dave melodically and beautifully explores these topics with his raggedly charming pop vocabulary.
