The Coast Guard Band brings "Summer Heat" at its jazz concert

The United States Coast Guard Big Band has the perfect sonic metaphor for mid-July: their "Summer Heat" jazz concert taking place Sunday at the Coast Guard Academy. Listen for fine standards by Pablo Ruiz, Duke Ellington, Tom Kubis and Bill Holman, along with material by Coasties MU1 Sean Nelson, MU1 Cedric Mayfield and MU1 Robert Langslet.
