Groton City

Amanda McLaughlin, 24, of 43 Ledgeland Drive, Groton, was charged Tuesday with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree trespassing and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Groton Town

Brittany S. Melendez, 20, of 18 Church St. was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree failure to appear in court, interfering with a 911 call and disorderly conduct.

New London

Derek Denomme, 33, of 184 Willetts Ave. was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny.

Luis Silvasantisebangil, 45, of 8 Grand St. was charged Tuesday with misuse of a marker plate, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to carry proper insurance.

Norwich

Joseph Walmaley, 43, of East Granby was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Daniela Ortiz, 19, of 39 Spaulding St. was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Jessica Ortiz, 21, of 187 Broad St. was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Damil Agosto, 33, of 90 Sandy Lane was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, violation of probation and sixth-degree larceny.

State police - Montville

David Halland Jr., 22, of 77 Richard Brown Drive, Uncasville, was charged Wednesday in Uncasville with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Stonington

Emanuel D. Hatten, 38, of Braintree, Mass., was charged Tuesday with being a fugitive from justice.

Waterford

Eddie Rodriguez, 28, of 46 Mountain Ave., New London, was charged Tuesday with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and misuse of marker plates.
