Dodd hosting Potvin Scholar-Athlete Day on Sunday

The annual Christopher Potvin Scholar-Athlete Day will be held on Sunday at Dodd Stadium prior to the start of the Connecticut Tigers' game against the Jamestown Jammers.

Twenty-one student/athletes will be presented $1,000 scholarships by Wayne Potvin in a 3:45 p.m. ceremony prior to the first pitch.

Recipients include Aidan Quinn and Jon Mewha of Fitch, Alyson Tacchi, Haley McCall and Casey Scuba of Lyman Memorial, Nova Crespo of New London, Tyler Guetens, Nick Kinder and Tre Gonzalez of Montville, Connor Buckley of Stonington, Jon Malchiodi and Sean Hurley of St. Bernard, Grace Ann Mills of Williams, Anika Pallan of East Lyme, Allison Sullivan, Connor Curland and Samantha Nichols of Norwich Free Academy, Ron Baude and Dan Santos of Waterford, Jordan Buscetto of Old Lyme and Lisa Bondo of Enosburg Falls (Vt.)
