The 9th annual Sunflowers for Wishes to benefit Make-A-Wish Connecticut will be held through Sunday at Buttonwood Farm in Griswold.

Sunflower bouquets will be sold for $5 each, with all proceeds going directly to Make-A-Wish Connecticut and its mission to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Sunflower T-shirts, note cards and Buttonwood's own sunflower flavored ice-cream also will be available for purchase. Hayrides add to the enjoyment.

Over the years, Sunflowers for Wishes has raised more than $500,000 for Make-A-Wish Connecticut.
