Waterford store helps heart patient

Five Below in Waterford is donating up to 10 percent of its profits throughout every weekend of July in honor of heart-transplant patient Ricardo Santiago.

To have purchases recorded, patrons must present a flyer available at The Mail Room in Groton and Stop & Shop in Waterford or by contacting Jennie Santiago at 860-514-5200 or ariesmama1308@gmail.com.

To donate directly, send a check to the NFT Connecticut Transplant Fund, 5350 Poplar Ave., Suite 430, Memphis, TN 38119. Write "in honor of Ricardo Santiago" in the memo line.

Donations also can be made at www.transplants.org. Click on Find an NFT Patient to locate Santiago.
